Description
The Thermal Engineering 12501A Thermal Digital Compressor Analyzer is a tool specifically designed for testing single-phase compressors used in refrigeration systems. It can handle compressors up to 5 horsepower and works with various voltages (110v, 220v, 277v) and frequencies (50Hz/60Hz). The analyzer performs a variety of electrical tests on the compressor, including checking for continuity, grounds, and winding resistance. It can also measure capacitance and current draw. This helps technicians diagnose problems with the compressor motor, windings, and starting components like capacitors.
