Description
The Olympus MX50 is a powerful microscope designed for the inspection of semiconductor wafers and flat panel displays in research and production settings. It excels at examining large 300 millimeter wafers, which are common in modern chip fabrication. The MX50 can be configured for reflected light illumination, which is ideal for opaque materials, or transmitted light for studying thin, translucent samples. It also offers advanced features like brightfield, darkfield, and DIC (differential interference contrast) for generating high-quality, detailed images.
