The Extech 9044 Tachometer offers versatile functionality with both photo and contact measurement capabilities. This device is designed to accurately measure rotational speeds and surface speeds of various machinery and equipment. With its photo mode, it can measure from a safe distance using a laser beam aimed at a reflective tape or target on the rotating object. In contact mode, it utilizes a wheel or cone attachment to directly measure the speed by making contact with the surface. The tachometer provides a wide measurement range, making it suitable for different applications across industries like automotive, manufacturing, and maintenance.
