Description
The Extech 42540 Infrared Thermometer is a highly versatile and accurate instrument designed for non-contact temperature measurement in various industrial and professional applications. It combines infrared technology for surface temperature measurement with a Type K thermocouple input for contact measurements, offering flexibility and precision across a wide temperature range. With a temperature range from -50°C to 760°C (-58°F to 1400°F) for infrared measurements and -50°C to 1372°C (-58°F to 2501°F) for Type K thermocouple measurements, it caters to diverse temperature monitoring needs. The thermometer features a distance-to-spot ratio (D) of 30:1, allowing precise targeting of measurement areas from a safe distance.
