Description
The 3SAE Technologies S183PMII Advanced Fusion Splicer is a high-end piece of equipment designed for use in demanding applications like research and development, production lines, and OEM settings. It excels at splicing together specialty fibers, including those with small or large cladding diameters, polarization-maintaining fibers, and even erbium-doped fibers. One of its strengths is its ability to handle large diameter fibers, up to 500 micrometers, which is significantly larger than the standard 125 micrometers.
