Description
3SAE Technologies doesn’t actually manufacture the EFC-11 Fiber Cleaver itself. They resell the Ericsson EFC 11, a cleaver that uses ultrasonic vibration for precise fiber cleaving. This technique creates clean, mirror-quality ends on optical fibers with minimal stress on the fiber itself. The EFC-11 is designed for long-term use with minimal maintenance and can cleave fibers ranging from 80 to 200 micrometers in diameter.

- Cleaving Method: Automatic – Cleave Angle: 0.5 degrees typical
- Coating Diameter: 250um to 900um – Cleave Length: 5mm to 20mm
- Blade Life: 48,000 cleaves (estimated)
- Cleaving Time: Typically less than 12 seconds per cleave
- Cleaving Quality: High precision and low reflection
- Cleave Modes: Single, multiple, and ribbon fiber
- Battery Life: Approximately 8,000 cleaves
