The Omicron CAL542 ESD – Static Charger / MTronix Technology Charge Calibrator is a multifunctional, high-precision instrument designed for calibration and testing of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) equipment and surfaces. It features both positive and negative ESD polarity charges, with voltages ranging from ±30 V to ±15 kV DC. The instrument provides precise measurements of charge transfer efficiency, surface resistance, and discharge time constants, providing users with accurate and comprehensive information about ESD compliance in electronic equipment. Moreover, the instrument includes three modes of operation: charging, discharging, and testing, which make testing and calibration procedures straightforward.
