Description
This bridge is specifically made to get rid of the contact resistance and lead resistance that can skew resistance readings. It uses a four-wire measurement method in which two wires are used to measure the voltage drop across the resistance and two additional wires are used to pass current through the unknown resistance. Even for low resistance values, this configuration ensures accurate and precise measurements. In many different industries and scientific disciplines, including electrical engineering, material testing, and quality control, where precise resistance measurements are crucial, the Biddle 72-436 Kelvin Bridge is widely used.
